Laura and I didn’t fully switch to California residents (legally). We kept everything back home just like it was except for the fact that we moved across country literally. The purpose was so we could vote in this year’s election as Florida residents. People are still pissed off about what happened in 2000 and 2004 elections and even today when I tell someone that I’m from Florida they say, “dude, what the hell is your problem? Why did you screw up the elections?” First of all, I didn’t screw up the elections and 2nd of all, did you even vote at all? I think only 18% of america votes in a presidential election so I bet half of the people asking me that didn’t even vote.
Anyway, me and Laura know that California is largely a blue state so we’ve decided to make our vote count by doing an absentee ballot for Florida. We’ll finally get our California IDs once the election is over. I added a slideshow below because I thought it would be cool to take pictures of the ballot. By the way, I could have sworn that everyone was only talking about 2 presidential candidates when actuality there are about 10 of them. What gives? Where were those other candidates when I was deciding who I would vote for. I hate the media.
